Charis & Tom's wedding
  • Photographing Charis & Tom's wedding day was a real honour, and I was extremely flattered to be asked.

    It had a bit of a classic British feel to it: a chauffeured Morris Minor, steak & kidney pies and rock'n'roll in a lovely old pub (it dates from around 1880, apparently), the backdrop of the London City skyline and of course Charis & Tom's outfits, which were very elegant and understated.

    This is a selection of my favourite photographs from the day. My intention was to take a storytelling approach, and to capture ambience and colours as naturally as possible by using available light almost exclusively (ie. no flash). I hope you enjoy the results as much as I enjoyed working on them.

    PS. The band were incredible and yes that's a real rainbow!
